Aim of the Programme

The aim of this programme is to help Students examine and evaluate the different aspects of the business world, and prepare them for real-world administration roles.  It provides a comprehensive structure where Students can acquire the knowledge and skills they will need to work in the world of business.

On completion of their studies, Graduates will be able to apply critical thinking skills across all aspects of business, from planning how an organization operates on a day-to-day basis to adjusting strategies in the face of on-going changes and challenges.

Graduates of the BBA in Management will have a well-rounded knowledge on different aspects of management providing them the opportunity to have a competitive advantage for work placement in the field of business.

Graduates of the BBA in Marketing will have a well-rounded theoretical and practical knowledge both on conventional and digital aspect of Marketing and will be able to implement marketing techniques in the workplace. On successful completion of their studies, Graduates will be able to analyze and evaluate marketing and its components.

Graduates of the BBA in Accounting will have a well-rounded knowledge of the accounting profession and is aimed at students who are interested in following a career in accountancy and obtaining further professional accounting qualifications prior to entering a career in business.  On successful completion of their studies.

Major in Management

  • Examine the political, cultural, economic and legal environment that affect business operations.
  • Develop managerial and leadership skills within a global context.
  • Acquire essential managerial skills for effective business decision-making.
  • Discuss key management tasks involved in the process design of operations and supply chain management, logistics, project planning, and quality control.

Major in Marketing

  • Design a marketing campaign and justify the selection of media according to their effectiveness based on the characteristics of consumers within a target market.
  • Evaluate the importance of data collection and analysis in the design of effective strategic planning in various industries within local and international environment.
  • Implement techniques that support the marketing and sales goals.
  • Analyse and explain the important role of communication in marketing management and implement effective marketing strategies.

Major in Accounting

  • Prepare financial accounts using financial information withing a regulatory framework.
  • Analyse, interpret and prepare financial statements and critically discuss the importance of financial management and reporting within a legal environment.
  • Critically evaluate the importance of budgeting, explain different budgeting and cost accounting techniques and use performance measurements to monitor business performance.
  • Explain the Cyprus tax system and evaluate the importance of audit and assurance in line with business ethics.
