QUALITY ASSURANCE FRAMEWORK

The College is committed to maintain its academic standards and enhance the quality of its learning and teaching provisions.

The professionalism and dedication of Faculty and Administrative Staff, individually and collectively, make a vital contribution to the enhancement of provision of Quality Assurance.

For Students:

The College is committed to provide a high-quality learning experience and Student satisfaction. 

For Staff:

The College continuously invests in staff development and provides them the opportunity to participate in seminars, trainings, conferences etc.

Quality Assurance Handbook

In order to achieve quality in our programmes and in our services, we have issued in 2016 a Quality Assurance Handbook that includes all procedures followed by each department.

QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITTEE is comprised of:

  • The Academic Dean
  • The Administration & Finance Director
  • Three members of the Faculty staff
  • The QA officer
  • Two members of the Student Association (one undergraduate and one postgraduate student.

The College, under the guidance of The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA), the competent authority in the Republic of Cyprus responsible for the evaluation and accreditation of Higher Education Institutions, adopts the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015), which focus on:

  • Policy for quality assurance
  • Design and approval of programmes
  • Student-centered learning, teaching and assessment
  • Student admission, progression, recognition and certification
  • Teaching staff
  • Learning resources and student support
  • Information management
  • Public information
  • On-going monitoring and periodic review of programmes
  • Cyclical external quality assurance

The College has established procedures to monitor, evaluate, and ensure that quality is maintained consistently across all areas of its operations. These procedures are grouped into the following categories:
