Administration, Councils & Committees

The Administration of the College incorporates, along with the different Departments responsible for the smooth and effective functioning, the following bodies:

Board of Governors

The board is responsible for defining the role and mission of the College and, thereby, setting the strategic goals for the College to achieve. The board of governors has responsibility for fiduciary oversight and institutional performance. All of its decisions and policies are made in the best interest of the College.

The Board of Governors consists of the following members:

  • The shareholders with a specific percentage of ownership
  • The Executive Director
The College Advisory Council

The College Advisory Council is comprised of alumni, external stakeholders, and business leaders who provide their expertise to help shape the strategic direction of the College.

The mission of the Council is to support and promote the College, its programmes, and its activities. Guided by their deep care and commitment to the College, Council members provide support and guidance to the Directors and the Dean in fulfilling their mission to deliver and sustain high-quality education.

During the annual meeting, stakeholders have the opportunity to meet one another, maintain effective communication, and build a strong team that helps make the College more widely known in the community.

The College Council
The College Council is an advisory body to the College management and is dedicated to representing the needs and interests of its Students, with its members serving as peer Academic advisors, strengthening the College identity, fostering Faculty-Student relations, and connecting with Alumni.
The College Council consists of the following members:
  • One representative of the Board of Governors
  • The Executive Director
  • The Administration and Finance Director
  • The Academic Dean
  • One Head of Field of study or Programme Coordinator
  • The QA Officer
  • One member of the Student union Candidate students must have good academic performance (≥3.00) with no discipline issues).
Administrative Committee

The Administrative Committee deals with all administrative matters with regard to the smooth and efficient functioning of the College.

This Committee plays a vital role in the College community and the decisions it takes affect the Faculty, Staff and Students.  All major decisions concerning finance and administrative issues are reviewed by the Committee.

The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • One representative of the Board of Governors
  • The Executive Director
  • The Administration and Finance Director
  • The Academic Dean
  • One Head of Field of study or Programme Coordinator
  • One member of the student Union.  Candidate students must have good academic performance (≥3.00) with no discipline issues).
  • One member of the Administrative staff
Academic Committee

The purpose of the Academic Committee is to oversee the academic affairs, review and make recommendations to the Board of Governors about the Academic Programmes, Academic quality and the competitiveness of the College’s Programmes of study.

The Committee ensures that the College has the policies and capabilities to realize the College mission and deliver high quality Education and support to its Students.

The Committee has the necessary resources and authority to discharge its duties and responsibilities.

The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • The Academic Dean
  • One Programme Coordinator
  • One Head of Field of study
  • One member of the Faculty staff
  • One member of the Student Union Candidate students must have good academic performance (≥3.00) with no discipline issues)
Disciplinary Committee
The purpose of the Disciplinary Committee is to oversee the smooth running of the College as well as the compliance with the rules and regulations.
The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • The Academic Dean
  • One Head of Field of study
  • One Programme Coordinator
  • One member of the Faculty staff
  • One member of the student Union.  Candidate students must have good academic performance (≥3.00) with no discipline issues)
Quality Assurance Committee
The Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for the Αcademic and Αdministrative quality assurance framework of the College. It acts as a planning forum for the discussion and promotion of developments, regarding the quality assurance in these issues.
The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • The Academic Dean
  • The Administration & Finance Director
  • Three members of the Faculty with important scientific work and extensive academic experience (full-time or part-time)
  • One member qualified in Quality Assurance
  • Two members of the Students’ Union (an undergraduate and a postgraduate Student)
Research Committee
The Research Committee aims to support the College in research.  Its strategic role is to shape research policy and activities in the College.  The Committee and its members have the responsibility of promoting research in the academic community and industry.
The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • The Head of Research
  • The Administration and Finance Director
  • The Academic Dean
  • Two Faculty members with a recognized background in research and extensive academic experience
Health & Safety Committee
This Committee aims to develop and carry out measures to improve the health and safety of Staff and Students, using the College premises, and to assist in developing health and safety standards, rules and procedures.
The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • One representative of the Board of Governors
  • The Administration & Finance Director
  • The Academic Dean
  • The QA Officer
  • One member of the Faculty staff
Erasmus+ Committee
The Erasmus+ Committee aims to design a strategy for the CTL Eurocollege’s Erasmus+ Programme participation. The Committee evaluates the progress of the Programme and makes suggestions to the College Management.
The Committee is comprised of the following members:
  • The Erasmus+ Coordinator
  • The Administration & Finance Director
  • The Academic Dean
  • One member of the Faculty Staff
  • One member of the Administrative staff
