Examinations

The Final Examination mark constitutes 50% of the Final Semester mark, while Midterm Examinations, Assignments, Projects and Presentations constitute the 45% and Participation the rest 5%.

Midterm Examinations are based on material covered until the period of the exam and they take place during the 6th – 8th week from the beginning of classes for Fall and Spring Semesters and during the 5th -6th week in the case of Summer Sessions.

They take place during teaching hours and take no more than two (2) study periods to complete.

Final Examinations on the other hand are based on material covered throughout the Semester. The Final Examination period is set down on the Academic Calendar. Final Examination sessions have a duration of three hours for all Programmes. Marks are combined with those of Midterm Examinations, Assignments, Projects, Presentations and Participation to calculate the Semester Final Mark.

A Graduate Student’s Final Mark may include a period of Internship as well as a Final Project.
