CTL Eurocollege students participated in an educational field trip to Paphos Archaeological Park, Paphos Castle, Aphrodite’s Rock and Aphrodite Hills Resort, organised and coordinated by Dr Vasilis Papavasiliou, Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Department.
The field trip combined hospitality, tourism, history, and cultural interpretation, giving students the opportunity to experience Cyprus’ tourism product through both heritage and luxury hospitality perspectives. Students explored important archaeological and cultural landmarks, discussed destination management and visitor experience, and examined how culture and storytelling shape the tourism industry.
During the visit to Aphrodite Hills Resort, students received a guided tour of the resort’s facilities and departments, gaining insights into hotel operations, guest experience management, and luxury hospitality standards. Students also had the opportunity to meet with the Human Resources team, discuss internships and career opportunities, and submit CVs for potential employment and industry placements.
