Dr Elena Tsappi is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at CTL Eurocollege, Cyprus. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from European University Cyprus, an MSc in Human Resource Management accredited at CIPD Level 7, and a BA in Business and Management from the University of Sunderland.
Her interdisciplinary research focuses on performance evaluation in Metaverse-based educational and workplace environments, digital transformation, human resource management, sustainability, smart cities, and Structural Equation Modelling using PLS-SEM. Her work explores how emerging technologies and innovative evaluation frameworks can strengthen organisational performance, education, and sustainable development.
Dr Tsappi has taught business and management subjects at higher education institutions in Cyprus, Greece, and China. She also has extensive experience in academic supervision, research design and data analysis, scholarly publishing, and the development of research projects and funding proposals.
She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and international conference papers and has contributed to Horizon Europe and other European research proposals. Her expertise supports European priorities relating to digital education, workforce development, responsible innovation, sustainability, and technology-enhanced learning.
