The 2017 graduation ceremony was another superb conclusion to what has been a long and hard semester for our students. Some great speeches to start with: a passionate one from Katerina Christophidou, the Academic Dean, and a humerous yet wise one from Mike Grispos warmed the audience up. This was followed by some bright deliveries by our young graduates, which brimmed with hope, positiveness, ambition and youthful cheekiness. Mention has to be made of the strong speech by Alanki Murali, a beacon of ambition and achievement for all our students.
The highlight, of course, was the moment our graduating students received their well deserved diplomas and degrees; the happiness and relief of every single one of them was etched on their faces.
And to round it all up, the party! After a few drinks and snacks, the students put on a show, and what a show it was! Some lovely Indian songs by Nasim Malek and then the scene exploded with the wonderfully choreographed performance by Craig Buck and “The Sunshine Girls” (aka Alina Vorobyeva, Maria Chistiakova, Victoria Lazareva, and Nasim Malek). It didn’t take long before everyone joined them on stage and danced.
