Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen

Welcome to the CTL College Graduation ceremony 2004.  As a graduate tonight I would like to share my personal opinions with you.

First of all I would like to say thank you to Mr Papathomas and all the staff of our college.  I really appreciate what you have offered us – comfortable and pleasant study environment and friendly and warm help since I arrived and up until now.

I came to Cyprus in 1999 when I finished high school in China.  I didn’t speak English very well.  It was my teacher who helped me to pass my English difficulty.  Then I achieved a Travel and Tourism Diploma 2 years ago and today I have achieved another diploma in Hotel Administration.  I would not have achieved all this had it not been for my teacher’s effort.

Secondly I would like to congratulate all the other students who are graduating from CTL College today.  I believe all of you have similar feelings to me – excited and self-confident for our future.  We are going to undertake successful careers by adopting the knowledge and skills we have obtained from the college.

Finally I would like to say a few words to all the students who are still working on their studies and going to graduate in the future.  Remember this – success always belongs to persistent effort.  I wish you all a brilliant future.

All right I think I’ve said enough.  Words often express little of what is in the heart.  Flowers will die, the sun will set, but the CTL College I won’t forget, your name is precious, it will never grow old, and it’s engraved in my heart with letters of GOLD.

Thank you very much.  And hope you enjoy the wonderful night.

Li Xuan
