BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The programme of study in Business Administration (2 years, Diploma) aims to introduce the student to the business world. The student will be exposed to the theoretical background that one needs to possess in order to start up and run a business. In addition, students will occasionally be given the opportunity to visit different business environments, such as trade organizations and Banks, as well as consulting firms in order to have the opportunity to compare and contrast different business activities regarding the offering of products and services.
Through maintaining high academic standards within the programme, the College encourages students to acquire knowledge and skills vital for competent performance in the Business industry.
The aim and objectives of the program are:
- To provide students with the fundamental and core knowledge related to the standard modules of business administration diplomas.
- To introduce students to the vital theoretical concepts related to the business organisational realm.
- To develop a range of practical skills associated with setting up and running a business.
- To prepare students in identifying the internal and external environmental factors which affect management decisions and general business practices.
- To equip students with the skills to analyse and evaluate management decisions, based on the various approaches to business management developed.
- To provide a solid background for a variety of careers in the range of business industry job positions, as well as for pursuing further education in business administration bachelor programs.
